The white wine »Reserve« Weißburgunder trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Friedrich Becker has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißer Burgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Rich yellow in colour. On the nose, aromas of vanilla, smoke, a herbal savouriness and a touch of ripe apple. On the palate, textured, rich and grippy with precise phenolics, good intensity, very fresh acidity, notes of apple and grapefruit and good length. Full of tension, clearly a long-distance runner.
