The red wine »Quercus» Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Familie Allendorf has been rated in 2018 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
This has aromas of elderberry, blueberry, and vanilla pudding, but also some savoury notes, dry conifer, and juniper. It is very well extracted, with quite a rich dose of fine tannins, and lots of juiciness behind it, with the ripe acidity physiologically matching the body. It has an elegant style.
