The white wine »H.A.D.E.S.« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Fürst Hohenlohe Oehringen has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The aroma shows a marriage of woody aromas, honeydew melon, some citrus, smoky notes and wet forest soil. Plucky yet elegant, the wine shows plenty of juiciness, pronounced aromas, strength, smoothness and power in the glass. The length is very good.
More about the tastingSome cider and yeast in the densely woven and sophisticated nose, with pear and apricot, accompanied by fine wood and aniseed. A wine of stature and substance with a good dynamic, carried by vivid acidity. The supple fullness is filled with notes of ripe pear and Mirabelle plum. Long finish.
