The red wine »In senio H.A.D.E.S.« trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Fürst Hohenlohe Oehringen has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Slightly brighter at the edge of the glass, the attractive aromas of the fruit are already moving towards the tertiary range with floral and peppery notes, wild raspberry, rhubarb, wet leaves and forest floor. On the palate, a fine, but self-confident acidic structure that enlivens the wine, intense, soft tannins, relatively little fruit with a touch of cherry, but definitely shows the minerality of the site.
More about the tastingDistinct ripe cassis notes, overtones of cinnamon, plum, violet pastille. Creamy base, sandy to grainy tannins, very dense and rich fruit yet relaxed by the ripe phenolics. Good ageing potential.
