The white wine »Basalt« Forst Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Georg Mosbacher has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
In the glass initially light wood spice, then lemon balm, tangerine and yellow apple. On the palate wonderfully juicy, very fine terroir-typical fruit. At the same time a lot of substance with ideal balance. A very attractive wine with a lot of drinkability and certain ageing potential.
