The red wine Pinot Noir Reserve, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Gerhard Markowitsch has been rated in 2013 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark ruby-garnet in colour with purple reflections and a brighter rim. Red forest berry jam is underlaid on the nose with some roasted notes, raspberries, hints of liquorice and a smoky-spicy touch. Juicy and elegant on the palate with a pronounced fruit core and well-integrated tannins. It shows good length, with sure ageing potential.
