The sweet and dessert wine Lorch Krone Riesling Auslese, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Graf von Kanitz has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
On the nose there are aromas of passion fruit, as well as lemon, a rather restrained botrytis, and a hint of honey. On the palate it has a layer of suppleness, is restrained in sweetness and acidity, and is designed for roundness and volume rather than tension and concentration. It is therefore homogeneous and lovely.
