Deep dark, almost black, impenetrable purple. On the nose delicate wood spice and dark berries. On the palate enormously dense, full, builds up powerfully, massive, with much substance, unfortunately something drying on the finish.
More about the tastingDeep dark, impenetrable purple with a subtly brightening rim. Fragrant nose of red roses, slightly fleshy, peppery savouriness, then lots of ripe berries, slightly smoky on the finish. Very supple on the palate, opens velvety and soft on tightly woven tannins, gentle drive, spreads out long and full, lingering on the finish with minimal dryness.
