The red wine M5, vintage 2014 from the winery Weingut Haider Thomas has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tannat, Syrah from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Delicately spicy amarena cherries, balsamic nuances, a hint of precious wood, ripe plums. Chocolatey texture, dark fruit, sweet tannins, some nougat on the finish, an elegant food companion with ageing potential.
