The white wine »Vom Goldberg« Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Hammel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Fine smoke, ripe yellow and exotic fruit, ripe mango, cassis and yellow flowers, broom, also paprika and blackcurrant. Full-bodied on the palate, firm and compact with good extract and balanced acidity, refreshed by a hint of carbonic acid. A modern style that still shows its origins.
