The white wine Iphofen Julius-Echter-Berg Silvaner GG trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Hans Wirsching has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Ripe and candied fruit on the nose, pineapple, mango, apricots, sage, thyme, chamomile blossom, fine mineral savouriness. On the palate with texture, ripe acid structure, mineral savouriness, elegant with good length despite the hot year. Already a pleasure to drink now, but will also be in a few years.
