The red wine »Melchisedec« Syrah trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Heid has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Opaque purple colour. Restrained fruit on the nose, clearly black and white pepper, light suede. Very juicy for a Syrah, dark, ripe fruit. Dense, but with the typical Heid touch that never lets the wine slip into heaviness.
