Tasting Notes
Fine yeast, wood savouriness, cool smoke, restrained fruit, pear, quince, salty popcorn. A Swabian goes on a journey and local colour meets Bourgogne ideals: earthy, saline minerality, fruit driven structure, grippy phenolics, looking ahead.
More about the tastingFine and dense on the nose, with aromas of smoke, fresh lemon, apple peel, nectarine, apricot, kefir lime leaf, lemongrass and lime zest. Lots of elegance on the palate, with citrus fruit. Very nuanced and proportioned, light-footed and dancing. Delicate acidity runs through the fruity core. Salty in the long finish.
