Tasting Notes
Ripe aromas of cherry, plum and elderberry, with a hint of plum liqueur. The palate opens with ripe fruit supported by a mild acidity, with a slight bitterness, soft and restrained tannins, well-integrated alcohol and good structure.
More about the tastingSpontaneous fermentation notes. Plum. Used wood, notes of Belle de Boskoop. Seems somewhat "stubbly" on the nose. But also positive: balsamic and spicy. Creamy and mild on the palate, fine tannins, the palate structure is much tidier than the nose, leading to an intense, almost exquisite spiciness. Silky and supple, a wine with fullness and elegance (on the palate). The aroma must and will still be found.
