Tasting Notes
This has a bouquet of toasty oak, caramel, liquorice, and floral varietal aromas at the beginning of their development. On the palate it is taut, gripping, almost austere, balanced on the edge of green notes, but still on the side of positive, exciting sinewiness with development prospects. It is very dense, with very good length.
More about the tastingRestrained woody-savoury, some nougat, white flowers. Highly concentrated on the palate, lively acidity, lots of tension, very dry, still extremely closed, piquant savoury hints on the finish, a hint of green tones integrated. Long, full of certain ageing potential.
