The white wine Escherndorf am Lumpen 1655 Silvaner GG, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Horst Sauer has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
A balsamic terroir spice dominates the nose, along with herbal notes and some grapefruit. On the palate, too, the wine has a penetrating minerality, is taut with a very fine acidity structure, and has a lot of play despite its good concentration. Fine, salty finish.
