The red wine Ockenheim Kreuz Neronet trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Jäger has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Neronet from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
It has an opaque purple colour. The wine is still very youthful on the nose, but already shows spiciness as well as fruit, with aromas of plum, liquorice, and sage. On the palate it has some body, very dense fine-grained but also firm tannins, and nicely integrated acidity. It is a wine that needs time.
