The red wine »KT« Sonnenberg Spätburgunder, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Jülg has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points.
Intense fruity aroma of red cherry and also sour cherry, almond pit, smoke, oak savouriness, dried rosemary, wet leaves and wet lime. Heavy on the powerful and compact palate, attacking with good substance, taut tannins, confident, well integrated acidity, intense chalky minerality that grinds along the palate. The wine is young and somewhat aloof, with the best outline.
