Dark ruby, purple reflections, soft brightening on the rim. An inviting bouquet of fine wood spice, tobacco, dark berry confit and a touch of nougat. Juicy, good complexity, blackberry confit, ripe plums, round tannins, good length, pronounced fruit finish, very good ageing potential.
