The red wine Blaufränkisch Tricata, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Juris has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Blaufränkisch from the region Burgenland in Austria.
It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad ochre rim. There are lovely aroma nuances of spice, ripe cherry and plum, nougat, candied orange zest, and a delicate touch of fig in the background. On the palate it is very powerful, with dried plum, firm tannins, a lively acidity, a subtle nutty note on the finish, and a red berry and lemony finish. It has a good future.
