Tasting Notes
Varietal nose with blackberry notes, but also some blueberry and juniper. Enormously tight-knit fruit on the palate, plus fleshy, slightly dry tannins made for a long life. In principle kept really cool, but without astringency.
More about the tastingBlackberry, black cherry, blueberry, some tobacco, ink, black tea, smoke. Smooth on the palate with well-judged substance, seamlessly integrated acidity, firm, youthful tannin, concentrated and yet transparently floating with a firm core, vinified for the future.
