The red wine »Charlotte« Walsheim Silberberg Pinot Noir Grande Réserve trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Karl Pfaffmann Erben has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
The aroma still reveals some new wood. Notes of pencil, roasted hazelnut and fig. The palate reveals a full-bodied wine with a tannin of velvet and silk. The very round, mild flow hides the high alcohol. Well-integrated acidity, ripe, warm fruit on the palate, good length.
