It has a deep ruby colour, with purple reflections, and a broad bright rim. There are aromas of fine oak spice, some vanilla and plum, a hint of savouriness, clove, and dark wild berry fruit. It is juicy, elegant, with a fine tannin structure, a blackberry touch, and some oak spiciness. It is tightly woven, and it has good ageing potential.
