The red wine »R« Endingen Engelsberg Spätburgunder *** trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Knab has been rated in 2018 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
On the nose dark red fruit, cherry, sloe, smoke and spice. On the palate polished tannins, ripe but incisive acidity with a lovely red fruit display and fine minerality. Very good structure, nuanced, nice length. It is a pleasure now and will mature well.
