Deep yellow, which would rather be golden yellow in colour. On the nose, aromas are still marked by the wood ageing with smoke, dried apricot, yellow gooseberry, and honeydew melon. The full-bodied palate is juicy, supple, and smooth with fine spices and ripe phenolics supporting the powerful and firm structure. Has the potential for further ageing.
