The white wine »Réserve« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Knewitz has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
There are aromas of toasty new oak, roasted sesame, hazelnut, and flax, as well as notes of spontaneous fermentation. The palate flirts with a certain sparseness, a firm acid backbone and insistent substance dominate the existing tendency toward suppleness.
