The red wine Optimum, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Königshofer has been rated in 2021 by Peter Moser with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet colour, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Delicate notes of leather and nougat, dark cherries, balsamic touch, a hint of dried plums. Juicy and sweet, ripe figs, velvety tannins, chocolaty, a pleasantly developed food wine.
