A spicy nose full of red currants, raspberries, strawberries and violets, with some almonds and chocolate also emerging. Fresh on the palate with a lively acid structure with very good tension. The fruit is still a little closed and so the profile is more mineral, with ripe, pithy tannins. It needs air to reveal itself fully, but has very good ageing potential.
