The red wine »Assmannshäuser« Höllenberg Spätburgunder trocken Barrique, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Konrad Berg & Sohn has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points.
A complex matured aroma: sweet almond, mint, bay leaf, semi-bitter chocolate and cinchona bark. In the mouth the wine has an intense juiciness, the fine-grained tannin is melted and mild without having lost its tension, the tactile minerality gives polish and elegance.
