The red wine JUWEL Assmannshäuser Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Krone Assmannshausen has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Slightly trestery on the nose, plum water, but also herbs, wood, light sweetness on the palate, juicy and fruity, present minerality, silky and delicate tannins, finely underlaid with nerves, palate structure with finesse, slightly viscous base, still capable of developing aromatically. Good length.
