Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet with an opaque core, purple reflections and a touch of edge brightening. On the nose, dark forest berry jam mixes with liquorice and woody savouriness, along with a hint of blackberries and some background roasted aromas. The palate brings a juicy, firm, fine tannin structure with a core of red berries and sweet currants, with a vanilla touch on the finish. Spice to the fore on the aftertaste, and certain ageing potential.
