It has a deep dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a delicate bright rim. There is a subtle fine oak savouriness, dark berry fruit, gentle cherry, and a hint of orange zest, it is still somewhat reserved. It is juicy, with good complexity, blackberry and plum, rounded tannins, good freshness, and fine nougat on the finish. It is persistent, and it has certain ageing potential.
