The red wine Syrah RedGranite limited edition, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Kurt Angerer has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Kamptal in Austria.
Dark ruby with purple reflections and a broad ochre rim. Fine notes of herbs and cardamom on the nose, candied tangerine zests, liquorice, nougat and figs in the background all give a multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, complex and pronounced fruit texture on the palate with supporting tannins. Chocolate on the finish, this is already drinking well and has length and ageing potential.
