Subtle notes of reduction on the nose, with notes of smoke, gunpowder, quince, pear, apricot and toasted sesame. On the palate, medium complexity, but shows the definite ageing potential of the Esslinger terroir, emphatically dry, with vivid acidity, polished phenolics and a savoury minerality.
