The white wine Authental Weißburgunder R trocken, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Lamberth has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
This has a golden colour, with greenish reflections. There is a ripe aroma, with caramel notes, but also meadow herbs, hay, and a brazil nut nuance. It is powerful and full-bodied on the palate, still surprisingly compact and full of tension, with a vital acidity, plump background, supple layers, but also plenty of juice, and a hint of sweetness gives the fruit volume. It is very nicely mature, and probably not even at its peak yet.
