The red wine Kreuzkapelle Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Lamberth has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Some wood on the nose, but mainly small red berries, mint and black pepper. Creamy attack, supple tannins, ripe and mellow, well integrated into the broad body, slightly salty undertones, ripe acidity and good juiciness, the finish tends more towards the savoury than the berry side.
