Tasting Notes
Deep aroma of well-ripened berries and dark sweet cherry. The unfiltered bottling of this wine has certainly contributed to the wide-ranging aroma rising from the glass, with hints of tobacco and smoky notes. Lots of extract on the palate with invigorating acidity. A powerful wine with grainy tannins that will delight for many years to come.
More about the tastingOn the nose: cinnamon and dried orange peel, herbs, a petrol overtone. Plum jam. On the palate, the wine has heft, a grainy, dry tannin that is well embedded in the oily base. The hefty alcohol becomes a bit noticeable, but the perspective is good.
