The red wine »Premium Steillage« Assmannshausen Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Lamm-Jung has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Deep dark garnet red in the glass. Dark berries on the nose: Blackberry, blueberry and sour cherries, followed by graphite and a hint of coffee. Extremely juicy on the palate with depth and great grip, the tannin structure is still young and grippy, yet very animating.
