The white wine »C S.B.S.« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Leitz has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Rheingau in Germany.
In addition to notes of pear, melon and apple, the ageing in barriques is also evident with savoury notes of black pepper and caraway. Juicy on the palate, with some apple; clearly defined structure with good extract density and integrated acidity. Slightly saline, it is youthful, with definite ageing potential.
