The red wine »Reserve« Blauer Portugieser trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Terra Preta Weingut Huppert has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Portugieser from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The nose is characterised by wood maturation and rather restrained in its fruit offering; plum is evident, juniper berries and a little rum pot. On the palate, this Reserve is powerful with good extract and mature tannins, the alcohol is somewhat noticeable. A big wine.
