Tasting Notes
Slightly perfumed and floral nose, pear and honeydew melon, plus smoky elements, and vanilla. Fresher on the palate than the 2018, with vivid acidity, still characterized by the ageing in oak, it is a consistent wine, with good length, and certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingAttractive nose with apple blossom, orange peel, honeydew melon, some vanilla and a subtle woody note. On the palate with almost Riesling-like acidity, also honeydew melon again, shows mellowness, freshness and elegance with good length.
More about the tastingOpen and almost somewhat perfumed on the nose, subtle wood influence, silky and round on the palate, delicately flowing, rather mild acidity, the ageing shows sensitivity, an overall rather "quiet", very cautious Chardonnay.
