The white wine »Großes Gewächs« Nierstein Hipping Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Louis Guntrum has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
On the nose this displays the balsamic savouriness of The Roter Hang, but it also has distinctly fruity aromas of red apple, mirabelle plum, vineyard peach, guava and rhubarb compote. On the palate its substantial volume is filled with lovely fruit, where silky phenolics meet ripe acidity and firm minerality.
