The white wine »Große Lage« Forst Pechstein Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Margarethenhof has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Closed on the nose, some citrus, flint and blood orange, also yeast. A broad and voluminous structure on the palate, combining texture and a powerful, very fine yet tart phenolic flavour, ending with tactile mineral notes. An enigmatic wine.
