The blanc de noirs »Surprise« Blanc de Noir trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Münzenberger has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Light salmon pink in colour, the nose revealing the aromas of Pinot Noir with wild raspberry and strawberry. The palate has sweet juice and texture, as well as some tannin, which has a balancing effect. The acidity is ripe, with citrus fruit evident on the finish.
