Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, delicate ochre rim. Ripe cherry, cassis and blackberry nuances, subtle notes of oak, delicately underlain with nougat. Complex, juicy, red cherry, well-integrated ripe tannins, delicate sweetness on the finish, shows good length, secure and certain ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby in colour with an opaque core, and subtle ochre rim. On the nose, an inviting bouquet of fine nougat, delicate fine oak spice, dark wild berry confit, blackberry, and cherry. The palate is powerful and juicy, with a touch of red berry fruit, pronounced, still somewhat demanding tannins, and a saline-mineral finish, will benefit from bottle ageing.
