The red wine Cuvée Gols Reserve, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Paul Achs has been rated in 2026 by Peter Moser with 93 - 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet highlights, delicate lightening at the rim. Ripe dark cherries, some cassis and blackberries, with a subtle hint of nougat in the background. Complex, full-bodied, dark berry fruit, ripe, well-integrated tannins, dark chocolate on the finish, lingers nicely, herbaceous and spicy aftertaste, good aging potential.
