The white wine »B« Grauburgunder, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Peter Kriechel has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Ahr in Germany.
On the nose, the slightly toasty oak harmonises with fresh, berry Burgundy varietal fruit, blueberry and a hint of honey savouriness. The palate is balanced, with a supple base and filled with delicate phenolics, the acidity is ripe and carries the structure, the wine finishes with hints of savouriness - still closed, but with recognisable tendencies towards a fine Burgundy style structure.
