Deep dark ruby with purple reflections and a delicate lightening at the rim. On the nose there is a herbal savouriness, fruits of the forest confit, a hint of tobacco and candied orange zest. Juicy and powerful palate, with ripe plum, some fig and ripe supporting tannins that still dominate a bit, then nougat on the finish. Definite ageing potential.
