The red wine »Edition« Pinot Noir trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Ralf Trautwein has been rated in 2019 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Cherry, raspberry and rosehip on the nose, with some wood savouriness and fine smoked bacon too. It's spicy and soft on the palate, with a compact structure and well-judged power. A Pinot Noir with harmonious proportions that reflects the Kaiserstuhl, but also looks to Burgundy for inspiration.
