Tasting Notes
Strong ruby, purple reflections, broad rim brightening. Fresh herbal notes, a hint of nougat, a hint of cherry, a hint of red currant. Medium body, a hint of plum, firm tannins, somewhat astringent, a good food companion.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby, opaque core, purple glints, faintly lighter at the rim. Pleasant nougat touch, savoury nuances, black forest berry fruit, mineral, and a hint of orange zest. Juicy, good complexity, ripe plums, taut tannins that are still a bit dominant, as well as displaying persistence followed by a chocolate aftertaste. Will benefit from bottle ageing.
